Large language model

Also called: LLM

An AI model trained on large amounts of text to predict and generate language, used to understand messages and write replies.

Language models power chat assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, and the conversational part of AI voice agents. They are good at reading and writing, and can be wrong with confidence, which is why business use pairs them with the business's own facts and clear rules.
